Officials To Host Town Hall On Forest Hills, Rego Park Issues

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Residents of Forest Hills and Rego Park will get to sound off on local issues at a virtual town hall Monday with their federal, state and city representatives.

The virtual meeting will include briefings on local officials' response to the coronavirus pandemic and the pandemic-related resources available in the neighborhood.

Attendees will also have the chance to speak about local issues they are experiencing.

New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer, U.S. Rep. Grace Meng, state Sens. Toby Ann Stavisky and Joseph Addabbo Jr., Assembly Member Daniel Rosenthal and City Council Member Karen Koslowitz are co-hosting the event with Queens Community Board 6.

The meeting will kick off at 6 p.m. and will be streamed on Facebook Live and Zoom.

Attendees are asked to RSVP online for a link to the town hall.
