Manatee County Emergency Medical Services and Sheriff's Office personnel have been deployed to assist with the clearing of the tracks.

Two of the cars were carrying propane, and four cars were carrying sheetrock, officials said.

Clearing the tracks may take some time since the propane must be removed from the tanker before it can be moved.

This is a developing story.
