Officials investigating teachers using 'sound frequency tone' to get students' attention
Stevens Creek Elementary School in Martinez is investigating multiple teachers' use of high frequency video to get students' attention.
School administration was made aware of concerns regarding two teachers utilizing high-frequency tones to get the attention of students in two classrooms, according to a March 22 news release.
The incidents are currently under investigation, according to the release.
"Our team of educators at Stevens Creek Elementary are expected to maintain a level of professionalism that is beyond reproach, and the use of applications such as these are not condoned for use in our school," according to the release.
