UPDATE: Officials said that the missing child has been found.
SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – Authorities are responding to reports of a missing child in Smith County on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Sgt. Larry Christian with the Smith County Sheriff’s Office, a child was called in as missing in the 6000 block of FM 724 in Smith County. Christian described the child as a 4-year-old white male with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a grey shirt and sweatpants with a red stripe.
