Over 30 new pieces will be on display from his work over the past year. The show includes local scenes from Ogunquit”s Marginal Way and Perkins Cove, as well as the famous Bald Head Cliff.  Ric is known for his impressionistic style in capturing light. Ric aims to bring his artistic interpretation to his paintings, rather than laboring for bare realism. As Ric studied at the Florence academy of Art in Florence Italy, included in his show this year, will be his figurative and portraiture work.

When not in the studio, Ric can be seen painting throughout Ogunquit and his local presence is often highlighted by his donations of work to organizations such as the Ogunquit Museum of American Art, where he teaches and the Maine Special Olympics.

“Southern Maine, specifically Ogunquit gives a painter such beautiful inspiration as it has been painted by so many famous artists in the past,” says Della Bernarda.  “As my private studio is only open one weekend a year, it has become a community event where people can both enjoy art as well as visit a working studio.
