In this season of giving, we want to take the opportunity to extend our most sincere gratitude to our community and to the civil and civic leadership that has shown such tremendous support to Hall of Fame Village over the last several months.

That support has come through new partnerships formed, countless collaborations and access to critical financing, all of which has allowed us to continue to build a world-class company and destination. We have executed upon our game plan and had many “first downs” of progress this past year because of the leadership shown by our area foundations, our elected officials and by the citizens of our great city.

We were incredibly honored and excited that the Hall of Fame Village was of one the 12 projects to receive the Ohio Tax Credit Authority Transformational Mixed-Use Development (TMUD) tax credit award announced Wednesday.

The support we have received, including the substantial funding awarded through the Ohio Department of Development, could not have happened without the vision and leadership of state Sen. Kirk Schuring. Sen. Schuring has tirelessly championed economic growth and development within our region and throughout the state and continues to pioneer legislative efforts that will benefit our region for decades to come.

We know it takes a village to build Hall of Fame Village. On behalf of our entire team at the Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Co., thank you to Sen. Schuring, to all the leaders within our community, and to the citizens of Canton. We continue to commit to being a positive part of our communities’ future and wish you all health, happiness and joy this holiday season.

Michael Crawford

President and CEO, Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Co.
