Ohio High School Athletic Association releases baseball postseason tournament brackets
The Ohio High School Athletic Association released its 2022 statewide baseball tournament brackets on Sunday.

DIVISION I LIBERTY-BENTON DISTRICT
Top seeds in bracket: 1. Perrysburg; 4. Northview
Local in bracket: 11. Ashland
What to watch for: Ashland begins the tourney at Northview in a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 18.
District: Semifinals are May 25 and final is May 27. Both will be held at Liberty-Benton High School.
DIVISION III NORWALK DISTRICT
Top seeds in bracket: 1. Margaretta; 2. Edison; 3. Genoa; 4. Wynford
Locals in bracket: 7. Crestview; 12. New London
What to watch for: Crestview begins the tourney at home against No. 8 Colonel Crawford in a sectional semifinal at 5 p.m. May 18. With a win, the Cougars will play the winner of Genoa-No. 14 Bucyrus at a location to be determined in a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 20. New London starts on the road at No. 10 Western Reserve in a sectional semifinal at 5 p.m. May 18. The winner will travel to Edison for a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 20.
District: Semifinals are May 26 and final is May 28. Both will be held at Norwalk High School.

DIVISION III COPLEY DISTRICT
Top seeds in bracket: 3. Elyria Catholic; 4. Hawken
Locals in bracket: 5. Black River; 15. Northwestern; 19. Loudonville
What to watch for: Loudonville starts the tourney at No. 8 Wellington in a sectional semifinal at 5 p.m. May 16. With a win, the Redbirds will play at Black River in a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 18. Northwestern opens at home against No. 18 Tuslaw in a sectional semifinal at 5 p.m. May 16. If the Huskies win, they will travel to Hawken for a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 18.
District: Semifinals are May 23 and final is May 25. Both will be held at Copley High School.
DIVISION IV MEDINA DISTRICT
Top seeds in bracket: 1. Hillsdale; 2. Columbia; 3. Dalton; 4. Mogadore
Local in bracket: 7. Mapleton
What to watch for: Hillsdale hosts the winner of No. 9 Open Door Christian-No. 11 Cuyahoga Heights in a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 19. Mapleton starts the tourney at No. 6 Andrews Osborne in a sectional semifinal at 5 p.m. May 17. With a win, the Mounties will travel to Dalton for a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 19.
District: Semifinals are May 24 and final is May 26. Both will be held at Medina High School.

DIVISION IV GALION DISTRICT
Top seeds in bracket: 1. South Central; 2. Plymouth; 3. Buckeye Central; 4. Hardin Northern
What to watch for: South Central hosts the winner of No. 10 Mansfield Christian-No. 11 Upper Scioto Valley in a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 19.
District: Semifinals are May 25 and final is May 27. Both will be held at Galion’s Heise Park.
