Aug. 2 primary election: New ballots, registration deadlines and early voting dates
There are some polling location changes voters should be aware of.
Polling changes for the Aug. 2 primary
Holmes County's Washington Township polling location is moved to Nashville Church of Christ at 13457 state Route 39 just east of Nashville Elementary School.
This was done because the original location was unavailable for the Aug. 2 primary. The Holmes County Board of Elections voted to make this a permanent change, combing the two locations.
In Ashland County, Vermillion Township's two precinct polling locations at the Ashland County Service Center were changed to the Hayesville United Methodist Church at 44 South Mechanic St., according to Shannon Johnson, director of the elections board.
And in Wayne County, Paint Township's precinct 83 is moved from the New Leaf Community Center to Mount Eaton Elementary School at 8746 South Market St., according to the Board of Elections' website.
Sugar Creek Township's 87 and 88 precincts changed locations from the Kidron Community Center to Sonnenberg Village Church at 13497 Hackett Rd.; and P. Graham Dunn to the Dutch Kitchen Banquet building at 14278 Lincoln Way East, respectively.
