Ohio State basketball's Kyle Young ruled out of NCAA Tournament game against Villanova

After suffering three concussions in a 12-month period, Ohio State's Kyle Young left Sunday's NCAA Tournament game against Villanova with an apparent head injury.
With just under nine minutes remaining in the game, the left side of Young's head collided with the right shoulder of Collin Gillespie after an Ohio State basket.
Young stumbled to the ground and sat at the top of the key.

Initially it appeared that Young wanted to stay in the game before the OSU training staff ushered him off the court.
Kyle Young wanted to say in the game. The training staff would not let him. He's on the bench being attended to right now.

After getting checked out by Ohio State medical personnel on the bench, Dana Jacobson of CBS reported that Young was taken to the locker room.
A short time later he was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.

For the game, Young had six points, six rebounds and a blocked shot.
In Ohio State’s tournament win against Loyola Chicago Young had nine points, seven rebounds, a block, an assist and a steal.
