Ohio State Fair concert announcements begin with first two shows

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Ohio State Fair will feature more than a dozen concerts, and the first shows for this year have been announced.

The first show confirmed for the fair, set for July 24-Aug. 4, will be KIDZ BOP Live 2024, which will take place on the first night, July 24, at 6:30 p.m. The July 25 show has also been confirmed and will feature country band Alabama with special guest Canadian country singer Jade Eagleson. That concert will be at 7 p.m.

Additionally, the Aug. 2 concert at 7:30 p.m. will feature Dayton R&B band Ohio Players with R&B band Midnight Star. Tickets for the Ohio Players and Alabama concerts will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. with KIDZ BOP tickets already available. Each concert ticket includes admission to the fair. All concerts will take place at the WCOL Celeste Center. The Expo Center said that more concerts will be announced at four later dates: Mar. 5, Mar. 19, Apr. 2, and Apr. 16. Each day of the fair is expected to have at least one concert at the Celeste Center.
