Ohio State football forgets to notice Denver Broncos DE Dre'Mont Jones' career day

After his performance with the Denver Broncos in Week 8, Dre'Mont Jones didn't get the attention he thought he deserved.

The former Ohio State defensive tackle recorded three tackles-for-loss and a sack in the Broncos 21-17 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

However, in Ohio State football's weekly "Bucks in the NFL" social media post, Jones, the AFC Defensive Player of the Week, was not one of the players included,

And even as the Broncos entered their bye week during Week 9, it was still on Jones' mind.

"Not that I overly care that much," Jones wrote on Twitter, "but do we have beef or something because I wasn't included at all... ...just a respect thing yah know lol."

The post highlighted Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave, San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa, Washington Commanders wide receivers Curtis Samuel and Terry McLaurin, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell, Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard and safety Vonn Bell, New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson and Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields.

Ohio State followed up with a video including Jones the next day.

In four years with the Buckeyes from 2015-18, Jones recorded 22 tackles-for-loss and 9.5 sacks, adding an interception returned for a touchdown, four pass deflections, a forced fumble and three fumble recoveries, including one for a touchdown.

In 51 games for the Denver Broncos, Jones has 117 tackles, 27 tackles-for-loss and 21 sacks.
