Dawand Jones seems to be taking advantage of his first opportunity to boost his NFL draft stock.

The Ohio State offensive tackle is participating in practices ahead of the 2023 Reese's Senior Bowl Saturday.

Jones' opportunity to make a name for himself started with his measurements, coming in at 6-foot-8 and 375 pounds: 16 pounds heavier than he was listed on Ohio State's 2022 roster. Jones' wingspan of 89.5 inches, per FanSided's Tommy Jaggi, is the largest ever compared to any player at the NFL combine.

Jones seems to be putting that size to good use ahead of Saturday's Senior Bowl.

Jones went up against Notre Dame defensive end Isaiah Foskey and did not allow him to budge at the line of scrimmage.

Jones later added a win against Army defensive end Andre Carter, dominating the line of scrimmage, leading to praise from Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, per Pro Football Focus' Trevor Sikkema.

Jones showed this dominance in his final season at Ohio State as one of six All-Americans on the Buckeyes' roster in 2022. The Ohio State right tackle earned first-team honors from CBS Sports along with second-team honors from both the Associated Press and Sporting News.

Jones and Paris Johnson Jr., who is projected as a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL draft, were Ohio State's offensive tackles for a line that allowed the third-fewest tackles-for-loss and the fifth-fewest sacks in the country.

Jones and safety Ronnie Hickman will take part in the 2023 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama at 1:30 p.m. Saturday on NFL Network.
