The Ohio State men’s and women’s track and field teams won at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in Minneapolis, marking the first time since Wisconsin in 1997 that a school has earned both titles.

It was the third straight and fifth overall team title for the OSU women, who set a meet record with 185.5 team points, breaking the previous best of 179 set in 1994.

The OSU men captured their sixth overall title and first since 2018.

While Ohio State posted impressive performances on day one and day two of the event, neither the men or women were in the top three before Sunday.

On the final afternoon of competition, both the Ohio State men and women earned first-place finishes in the 4x100-meter relay. The women's team of Yanique Dayle, Anavia Battle, Nya Bussey and Leah Bertrand beat the field by more than a second (43.20).
