The Buckeyes' Nov. 26 matchup at home against the Wolverines is in 40 days, with Ohio State aiming to respond after losing its first game against Michigan since the 2011 season last year in Ann Arbor.
With 40 days before Ohio State's regular-season finale, here's a look at what the Buckeyes' matchup with Michigan looked like 40 years ago.

Ohio State upsets Michigan to end 1982 season, returns to Top 25
After season-opening wins against Baylor and at Michigan State, Ohio State's 1982 season didn't go as planned.
Losing three straight to Stanford, Florida State and Wisconsin, the Buckeyes were booted out of the Top 25 up until their regular-season finale against No. 13 Michigan.
Tied at 14 heading into the final 15 minutes against the Wolverines, head coach Earle Bruce, in his fourth season, and the Buckeyes scored 10 unanswered points off a one-yard run by running back Tim Spencer and a 33-yard field goal by Rich Spangler to secure the upset.
Spencer led the team with 124 rushing yards on 27 carries against Michigan, scoring two of the Buckeyes' three touchdowns.
Ohio State's defense stepped up, recovering three of Michigan's four fumbles along with three interceptions from linebacker Rowland Tatum, defensive back Kelvin Bell and linebacker Marcus Marek.
Ohio State's 10-point victory against Michigan Nov. 20, 1982 was one of five victories Bruce had against the Wolverines.
