Ohio State women finish 12th at NCAA track and field championships

The Ohio State women's track and field team finished 12th at the NCAA championships, two points out of the top 10. Florida took first in the men's and women's meets.

OSU's first-team All-Americans were Adelaide Aquilla in the shot put, Anavia Battle in the 200m and the 4x100m relay team of Yanique Dayle, Battle, Nya Bussey and Leah Bertrand.

Battle finished third in the 200m with a time of 22.33.  The Buckeyes’ 4x100m relay squad (Battle, Yanique Dayle, Nya Bussey, Leah Bertrand) finished sixth.

Jaimie Robinson finished 12th in the triple jump (13.14m). Alexus Pyles was 13th in the heptathlon.
