Ohio State's Alexus Pyles won the heptathlon with 5,623 points on the second day of the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in Minneapolis. She also took top honors in the women's long jump by posting a personal-best, wind-aided jump of 6.22 meters.

Fellow Buckeye Adelaide Aquilla set the school record for the discus throw (57.86 meters) to finish third overall.

Overall, the Ohio State women were in fourth place after nine events.

Hayden Tobias was the runner-up in men's shot put (19.71 meters), and the OSU men were ninth overall through six events with competition set to wrap up on Sunday.
