OHP: Several injured in three-car-collision near Chickasha

Dec. 13—Several people were injured in a collision involving three vehicles near Chickasha on Tuesday.

The accident occurred just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of US-62 and County Street 2880, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

According to a trooper's report, a pickup rear-ended a jeep attempting to make a lefthand turn onto County Street 2880. The jeep then entered the lane of oncoming traffic and was struck by an SUV.

The driver of the jeep, Juana Castro, 26, of Chickasha, along with three juvenile passengers, were treated and released at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City.

The driver of the SUV, Leland Looper, 49 of Blanchard was treated and released at OU Medical Center. Passenger, Marisoll Looper, 42 of Blanchard, was admitted to OU Medical Center in critical condition. Two juvenile passengers were treated and released, one child was admitted in fair condition.

The driver of the pickup, Clay Scott, 36, of Blanchard, was not injured.
