Need an oil change or tire rotation? New auto repair shops are popping up in Warner Robins
New auto shops are popping up in Warner Robins, including one brand that is new to Middle Georgia.
Grease Monkey at 2305 Watson Blvd. is now in its soft opening, offering mostly oil changes until swinging into full gear during its three-day grand opening Aug. 3-5.
The brand bills itself to offer an express 15-minute, stay-in-the-car service for oil changes and a lounge-style waiting area for additional services. Estimated wait times for services are posted on its website.
Other services include brake inspection and replacement, tire rotation and alignment, fuel and emission system cleaning and the like.
“Preventative maintenance services mostly,” said Jon Lockhart, assistant manager of the new Warner Robins shop.

Grease Monkey joins other auto repair businesses that are tapping into the aftermarket repair industry by opening new facilities such as Mavis Tire & Brakes, which has made a concerted push into Middle Georgia and the rest of the state over the last few years.
Late last year, Mavis Tire & Brakes added additional locations in Warner Robins and in Macon. The brand also opened a Byron location in 2022.
Its third Warner Robins store is expected to open later this year. Site preparation work is now under way for the new Mavis Tire & Brakes at Ga. 96 and Starlight Drive. Their first Warner Robins location opened in 2018.
This brand offers a variety of services including oil changes, tire sales, rotations, brakes and other services.
Take 5 Oil Change is a fairly new kid on the block on Warren Drive off Ga. 96 in Warner Robins. This brand offers a stay-in-your-car approach to oil changes with two dual lanes. Ancillary services include air filter and wiper blade changes and transmission and radiator fluid replacements. Take 5 Oil Change also has a Macon store.
Another brand that’s been in Warner Robins for awhile, Express Oil Change, is expected to build a new store, it’s fourth in the city, off Ga. 96 next to Bojangles. Site work has started. The brand, which offers a host of maintenance services from tires and brakes to shocks and struts, also has a Macon location.
With a “Done Right. Done Fast” motto, the new Grease Monkey on Watson Boulevard is at one end of a rectangular building. Vacant spaces of the building are available for lease through Dart Retail Advisors, according to a sign posted on the property.
The shop’s hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The number is 478-273-3500.
The shop will offer giveaways at its grand opening and customers who purchase an oil change during the event also will be eligible for a chance to win a prize.
