A fuel oil distillation unit caught fire, with the preliminary cause as a UAV strike.

The fire spread over an area of 100 square meters before being extinguished. There were no reported injuries.

Elsewhere on the night of May 31, another drone attacked the Ilskii oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai region.

The Shot Telegram channel reported that a kamikaze drone had fallen on the territory of the enterprise around 3:00 a.m., but did not detonate. There was no fire, and no injuries or casualties, reports said. Employees at the refinery were not evacuated.

Earlier, several unidentified drones tried to attack the Ilskii refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai on May 28, but were shot down, Russian independent Telegram news channel Baza reported.

Some fragments apparently fell near the oil refinery without damaging the facility.

The Ilskii Oil Refinery was also attacked on May 4 and May 5.

A huge fire in Sevastopol in Ukraine’s Russian-occupied Crimea on April 29 destroyed over 10 petroleum product tanks with a total capacity of 40,000 tons of fuel for the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
