Using petrol puddles as hair and nail inspiration is So. Last. Season. Now, it’s the turn of lips to be hit with the oil slick beauty trend. And the results are surprisingly beautiful.
Instabeauties are mixing metallic shades of purple, green, pink, blue and grey to get that petrol like swirly mix of oils. Also known as holographic or mermaid lips, thankfully there’s no actual oil involved in creating the look. But a slick of super-shiny lipgloss goes a long way.
