Steak the Experience has its grand opening this weekend.
Steak the Experience has its grand opening this weekend.

Chef Jonas Favela and Jeff Rogers Concepts and Consulting introduce their latest collaboration this weekend with the opening of Steak the Experience, 9410 N May Ave.

Favela's nine years behind the stove at The Ranch Steakhouse nearby will influence the menu, but live music is what will separate the new concept from other steakhouses across the 405 diningscape.

Local artists will take the stage for a live show starting at 7 p.m. to pair with the beef program Favela has for Steak the Experience. The restaurant opens at 5:30 p.m. and the last reservation will be accepted for 11 p.m. For reservations, call 286-2225.

Hawaiian Bros. Island Grill coming to Yukon

Aloha means let's eat at Hawaiian Brothers, a new fast-casual concept coming to Yukon. The grand opening is next Tuesday, Feb. 1, and to celebrate, the restaurant will feed teachers, first responders and health professionals for free this Saturday and Sunday. The new store is at 1603 Garth Brooks Blvd.

Featuring a menu inspired by traditional Hawaiian food like slow-roasted pulled pork and marinated teriyaki chicken paired with rice and tangy macaroni salad. It's a menu fans of Shaka at The Collective will appreciate.
