When do Oklahoma City swimming pools, splash pads and waterparks open this summer?

School is out, and the heat has already made its presence known as the month of May comes to an end.

Families across the metro area will be looking for ways to cool off this summer, and we've got you covered with this list of community pools and water parks. Many of these open Memorial Day weekend, while others will open in June.

Last summer, Oklahoma City-operated pools had delayed openings due to a staffing shortages. Robert Culverhouse, OKC parks spokesperson, said they are still short 10 to 15 lifeguards but that pools should open on time this summer.

Lifeguard applications can be found at okc.gov/aquatics.
