This week, an op-ed by an Oklahoman who staunchly supported Donald Trump went viral after he explained why he quit supporting the former president.

Jim Young wrote in the column published by The Oklahoman on Sunday that his support for Trump changed after he read former Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney's book "Oath and Honor."

On Wednesday, Young was interviewed on MSNBC by former George W. Bush and John McCain staffer Nicolle Wallace. He said he's interested in knowing Cheney's plans to keep Trump away from the Oval Office and would consider how he could help her efforts.

Young was also slated to appear on MSNBC's Morning Joe show on Thursday.

Cheney, who was co-chair of the congressional committee investigating the events that led to the Jan. 6 insurrection, was censured by the Republican Party ― along with U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger ― for working with the committee.
