Oklahoma executes man for killing horse trainer in 1998

OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuters) - Oklahoma executed by lethal injection on Tuesday a 48-year-old man convicted of stabbing and beating a horse trainer to death in a case of mistaken identity. Johnny Dale Black was pronounced dead at 6:08 p.m. Central Time (0008 GMT) at a state prison in McAlester, Oklahoma, state Department of Corrections spokesman Jerry Massey said.
