Oklahoma high school softball: COAC announces 2022 All-Conference teams

The Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference released its list of 2022 All-Conference high school fast pitch softball awards Thursday.

Libby Jaques of Moore is the Player of the Year, and Renee Christian of Westmoore is the Defensive Player of the Year.

The three other top awards went to individuals from Edmond Memorial, the team that defeated Broken Arrow on Oct. 15 for the Class 6A state title. Pitcher of the Year honors went to Keegan Baker of Edmond Memorial, while teammate Beth Damon is the Offensive Player of the Year. Their coach, Kayla Carlsward, received Coach of the Year recognition.

Player of the Year: Libby Jaques, Moore

Pitcher of the Year: Keegan Baker, Edmond Memorial

Defensive Player of the Year: Renee Christian, Westmoore

Offensive Player of the Year: Beth Damon, Edmond Memorial
