Oklahoma Highway Patrol: Four people dead after Adair County, Oklahoma crash

Two adults and two children died in an Adair County, Oklahoma collision Thursday evening, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Four people were left in critical condition from the collision.

A van driven by a 34-year-old Westville, Oklahoma woman collided with a pickup driven by a Caney Hill, Arkansas man about 5:50 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 59 at Bakery Feed Mill Road in Watts. Both drivers and two passengers in the van were killed.

According to a KTUL-TV in Tulsa, the van was from the State Line Christian Academy in Westville.

The driver of the van was dead at the scene. Her name was not released. A 13-year-old girl from Westville, a van passenger, and an 11-year-old girl were also dead at the scene.

The driver of a pickup, Larry Valentine, 61, of Caney Hill, was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple injuries, the patrol reported.

Asa Valentine, 25, of Lincoln, Arkansas, a passenger in the pickup, was taken to a Springfield, Missouri hospital where he was in critical condition from injuries to his head and internal trunk.

Chad Murray, 37, of Westville, Oklahoma, a van passenger, was flown to a Fayetteville hospital in critical condition.

A 7-year-old girl from Westville was taken to a Westville hospital where she was in critical condition, the patrol reported.

A 2-year-old boy of Westville was in critical condition at a Little Rock hospital where he was flown to be treated for head and internal injuries. He was in fair condition.

A 13-year-old girl from Westville was in also flown to the Little Rock hospital where she was in critical condition.

A 14-year-old girl from Westville was taken to a Fayetteville hospital where she was in fair condition.

A 10-year-old girl from Westville was treated and released from a Siloam Springs hospital.

An 8-year-old boy was also treated at the Siloam Springs hospital and released.

A 10-year-old Westville boy was taken to a hospital in Siloam Springs where he was treated and released.

The patrol did not release details about what happened. The cause is under investigation.
