Oklahoma man dies after propane truck overturns in LeFlore County

LEFLORE COUNTY, Okla. (KNWA/KFTA) — One man is dead after a crash in LeFlore County on April 9, according to a collision report.

Jimmy Howze, 62, of Whitesboro, Okla. was killed in the crash.

According to the report, Howze was driving west on OK-63 around 6:50 a.m.

The report says he started driving his 2012 Freightliner propane truck off the right side of the road, overcorrected and went off the left side of the road.

His vehicle overturned causing Howze to be ejected from the truck. The vehicle struck a tree and came to a stop.

Howze was declared dead on the scene by LeFlore County EMS due to injuries he received in the crash, according to the report.
