In a recent study conducted by Forbes Advisor, it has been revealed that Oklahoma is home to some of the most confrontational drivers in the nation.

The study surveyed 10,000 licensed drivers across all 50 states, comparing them on various metrics related to road rage and aggressive driving.

One of the findings from the study is that 60% of Oklahoma drivers reported experiencing road rage very frequently from other drivers in their home state. This percentage is the highest in the nation, highlighting a concerning trend among Oklahoma motorists.

Findings also revealed that 14% of Oklahoma drivers reported another driver had forced their car off the road, marking the state as the fourth most likely in this regard.

The study conducted by Forbes Advisor also highlighted the national increase in road rage incidents involving firearms. In 2022 alone, 413 people were injured in road rage shootings, representing a 135% increase from 2018.

Furthermore, Oklahoma drivers tied with Virginia for being the fourth most likely to report incidents of intentional cutting off by other drivers, with 59.5% of respondents experiencing this aggressive behavior.

While Oklahoma ranked high on the list of states with confrontational drivers, it is important to note that road rage is a widespread issue across the country.

Arizona topped the list as the state with the worst road rage, closely followed by Rhode Island, West Virginia, and Virginia. Delaware, on the other hand, emerged as the state with the most polite drivers in the nation.
