Oklahoma State Cowboys Sports Minute
The Oklahoman's Scott Wright takes a look at Oklahoma State's special teams, particularly the placekickers. The Cowboys have two good ones in super senior Tanner Brown and redshirt senior Alex Hale. Both have been impressive in camp, says punter Tom Hutton, who is the holder on field goals and extra points.
"You're just waiting for one of them to blink and see what happens," Hutton said. "But it's really healthy competition between those two guys. Either way we go, we've got a good kicker." ...
Columnist Jenni Carlson visited with former Cowboys star R.W. McQuarters. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame after superb careers as an OSU football and basketball player and an 11-year NFL defensive back. ...
