Oklahoma State football: Kickoff times announced for Cowboys' 2022 nonconference games

STILLWATER — Prepare for a September under the lights at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Oklahoma State’s first three games of the season will be evening kickoffs, as announced by the Big 12 Conference on Thursday.

The Cowboys’ season opener against Central Michigan is set for 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, to be televised by FS1.

The Week 2 matchup against Arizona State will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, and will be carried by ESPN2.

And the Pokes’ final non-conference game, against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, with the broadcast available on ESPN+.

Following the non-conference portion of the schedule, OSU has an open date, then begins Big 12 play at Baylor on Oct. 1.

Additionally, the Big 12 announced that OSU’s Thanksgiving weekend game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 26, when West Virginia visits Boone Pickens Stadium. The game will be carried by an ESPN linear platform, with the channel and kickoff time to be announced at a later date.
