Oklahoma State vs. Texas basketball: How to watch, stream and follow live updates

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State has another opportunity to knock off a top-10 team.

The Cowboys (9-5, 1-1 Big 12) host No. 6-ranked Texas (12-2) at 11 a.m. Saturday in Gallagher-Iba Arena aiming for a crucial two-game winning streak.

OSU has surged lately, winning three of its past four games while playing itself back into the NCAA Tournament projections.

A win over the Longhorns — who officially fired coach Chris Beard on Thursday — will only boost the resume for now in an incredibly deep conference.

Here is a quick look at what you need to know about Saturday’s matchup:

Three things to know about OSU vs. Texas

• Cowboys center Moussa Cisse is considered doubtful entering the game after suffering an ankle injury in Monday’s win over West Virginia. The 7-foot-1 junior was the co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year last season and is averaging 8.1 points and 9.9 rebounds this season. He leads the Big 12 with 38 blocks.

• Texas super-senior guard Marcus Carr was named to the midseason watchlist for the John R. Wooden Award, which is given annually to the sport’s top player. He leads the Longhorns in scoring (18.1), assists (59), steals (26) and minutes (30.4). He’s also leading an offense that averages 88.2 points per game.

• The teams have split the past six matchups, with OSU winning both games in Stillwater. Texas owns a 55-47 advantage in the series that dates to 1918.
