Oklahoma State vs. Central Michigan football: Score predictions, TV info, weather & more

STILLWATER — It’s been nine months since Oklahoma State took down Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl.

Now, it’s a new season and a new team. But the expectations remain the same.

The 11th-ranked Cowboys open their season against Central Michigan at 6 p.m. Thursday in Boone Pickens Stadium, again aiming to win the Big 12 title and make the College Football Playoff after falling just shy last season.

About the broadcasters

The FOX crew of Jason Benetti (play-by-play) and Brock Huard (analyst) has the call. Benetti is a highly-regarded play-by-play announcer who signed with FOX this year following 11 seasons calling games across multiple sports for ESPN. He’s also the voice of the Chicago White Sox and NBC Sports’ Sunday MLB game. The Illinois graduate also called the Olympics in summer 2020, select television games for the Chicago Bulls and NCAA Tournament games on Westwood One Radio.
