Oklahoma State vs. Prairie View A&M men's basketball: How to watch, three things to know

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State gets another chance to build some confidence before its non-conference schedule beefs up.

The Cowboys (4-2) host Prairie View A&M (4-2) at 2 p.m. Sunday in Gallagher-Iba Arena with a chance for a third straight victory.

OSU routed Tulsa 82-56 Friday night behind a big offensive outburst. Prairie View A&M beat Arkansas State 67-59.

Three things to know about OSU vs. Prairie View A&M

• OSU senior Avery Anderson III had two steals in Friday’s rout of Tulsa, moving him to 18th on the Cowboys’ all-time list. Anderson now has 138 career steals. He has at least two steals in five of six games this season. Anderson is averaging 2.3 steals per game along with 12.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

• OSU (4-2) has held a double-digit lead at halftime in four straight games and are 3-1 in that span. The Cowboys lost the lead in two of those games, though. The Cowboys have outscored their opponents by 56 points in the opening half this season.

• OSU has won all five games in the series with Prairie View A&M (4-2), including a 72-59 victory last season. The Cowboys have won each matchup by 22 or more points.
