Three things to know about Oklahoma State vs. Kansas

• Kansas is the first ranked opponent OSU has faced since losing to No. 4 Baylor in the Big 12 Tournament last March. OSU’s last win over a ranked team came on Jan. 22, 2020, defeating No. 25 West Virginia 57-55.

• The Cowgirl roster is expanding for Big 12 play with the arrival of Praise Egharevba, a 6-foot-3 forward from Papenburg, Germany. A true freshman who signed with OSU last summer, Egharevba was unable to join the team in time for the beginning of the season because of a holdup with her visa. She is now on campus and eligible to play.

• OSU added a talented player for the future as well, announcing the addition of 6-foot-5 center Hannah Gusters, who was a five-star recruit and McDonald’s All-American coming out of MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas, in 2020 when she signed with Baylor. After one season, she transferred to LSU, where she played all of 2021-22. Gusters left the LSU program prior to the start of preseason practice in October. The status of her immediate eligibility is unknown.
