MANITOWOC - Oktoberfest is on tap this weekend at PetSkull while a new women's boutique is opening, family fun is set at Farm Wisconsin, The Wharf brings a weekend of country music and Moore's Irish Pub marks halfway to St. Patrick's Day.

Here are five things to do in Manitowoc this week.

1. Don't miss grand opening of Manitowoc's newest women's boutique, Kindred Co.

Head to downtown Manitowoc Saturday for the opening of the area's newest woman’s boutique, Kindred Co.

Brought to downtown by the owner of graced, Kindred Co. will offer additional options for clothing, accessories, jewelry, shoes and more.

Kindred Co. is nearby graced, at 910 S. Eighth St., in the historic Fehr Building, which most recently housed Modern by Meghan.

The grand opening will kick off at 9 a.m. and run until 5 p.m. Saturday.

2. Learn about Wisconsin's most iconic fruits at Farm Wisconsin's Cranberry Apple Jamboree

Two of Wisconsin’s most iconic fruits — cranberries and apples — will be celebrated both Friday and Saturday at Farm Wisconsin Discover Center, 7001 Gass Lake Road, Manitowoc.

Find out why cranberries bounce and what a honeybee’s role is for each of these crop’s success at Farm Wisconsin’s Cranberry Apple Jamboree.

The weekend will be highlighted by the chance to wade into a mock cranberry bog and simulate the feeling of a cranberry harvest.

Activities run 9 a.m.-1 p.m. both days.

Access to the Cranberry Apple Jamboree is included in regular admission to Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center, which is $16 for adults, $14 for ages 62 and older, $10 for ages 3-18, and free for ages 2 and younger.

3. Celebrate Munich in Manitowoc at PetSkull Brewing Co. Saturday

This Saturday is Oktoberfest in Manitowoc!

Join PetSkull Brewing Co. for its fifth annual Munich in Manitowoc party with a ceremonial keg tapping at 2 p.m., the Ryan Kautzer Polka Band, German-style food, Hammerschlagen, and a guest appearance from Germany’s own Helmut and Klaus.

4. Have some honky-tonk fun at The Wharf's country music weekend

Dust off your cowboy boots — The Wharf, 606 Quay St., Manitowoc, is bringing NashBash Country Music Weekend to Manitowoc this weekend.

Kicking off Friday and wrapping up on Sunday, the weekend will feature live music, mechanical bull rides, a pop-up honky-tonk bar, country karaoke and free line dancing.

Live music acts include Smoke Road, Noah Garner Music, Jordan Blanchard Music, Eight Second Ride, A Tribute from Shania Twain and more.

5. Mark halfway to St. Patrick’s Day at Moore's Irish Pub in Manitowoc

Moore’s Irish Pub, 811 Jay St., Manitowoc, is celebrating the halfway point to St. Patrick’s Day with its annual street party.

Inside the pub and outside from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Saturday, there will be a full day of fun at Moore’s. Festivities include refreshing drinks, Moore’s delicious corned beef and cabbage plate, live music and more.
