Old Bay or J.O. Spice? Mike Rowe of 'Dirty Jobs' jumps into Maryland debate with episode

Mike Rowe of "Dirty Jobs" visited the J.O. Spice facility in Halethorpe, Maryland, to film an episode of the Discovery Channel and Discovery+ show, and as this clip makes clear, also to weigh in on one of Maryland's most essential questions: Old Bay or J.O. for crabs?

"You can watch as Mike tries to set the record straight and learn about the crab house seasoning of choice, since 1945, while making and packing the crab house seasoning," J.O. Spice said on Facebook.

The "Dirty Jobs" premiered Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, at 8 p.m. on the Discovery Channel and will stream on Discovery+. Half the segment will be J.O. and the other half a caviar farm, according to J.O. Spice.
