Rewind to the early Little Mix days and you'd probably not have believed us if we'd told you where things would get to between the four singers. In recent months everything got *pretty* dramatic after Jesy Nelson left the group and released her first solo single, which gave rise to accusations of blackfishing and a pretty messy dispute. Well, now a clip of the group from several years ago has surfaced on TikTok and fans are saying that you can already see tensions between Jesy and her former bandmates.

To recap, Jesy left Little Mix back in December of 2020 after 9 years with the group. Following the release of her first solo single "Boyz" and music video, the ex-girlband member was hit with new accusations of Blackfishing (wherein a person who isn't Black benefits and profits from adopting aspects of Black culture, or by altering their appearance to mimic Black characteristics e.g. by darkening their skin).

Following up the drama Jesy and Nicki then did an IG Live together in which Nicki looked to criticise Leigh-Anne while Jesy laughed in response, prompting yet more backlash.

Well, now a clip of the group from several years ago has surfaced on TikTok and fans are saying that with hindsight you can already see tensions between Jesy and her former bandmates.

The video shows the group accepting three Global Awards back in 2018, and when they're asked by the interviewer how it feels that the public voted for them to win three awards, Jesy quickly responds, "and for the first time it's been real," prompting questioning looks from Leigh-Anne, Jade and Perrie, who adds, "here we go, here we go."

The whole clip is fairly awkward, with some uncomfortable glances between the four singers as the interview haphazardly continues, until Leigh-Anne and Perrie both begin telling Jesy, "That's enough of that."

The video was captioned, "with the insight we have now I do see clips like this in a different way," prompting many comments from people who can't believe how different it all looks with hindsight.

"Perrie's eyes say a thousand words!" one commentor wrote, while another said, "This is too painful to watch," and someone else added, "I saw all this at the time and I saw the split coming...".

However, others were quick to say that people were reading too much into the video, with one person commenting, "I just feel she's having fun and I love it! Being authentic in the industry, even if drunk, is nicer than tryna [sic] put on a front." Meanwhile another fan wrote, "I honestly think people are looking into these clips too much. Not disregarding or supporting Jesy in any way shape or form but I think in these clips the girls were having a good time and they laughed about it the next day."
