Old Dominion brings No Bad Vibes Tour stop to Wells Fargo Arena in December
Country superstars Old Dominion will bring their country-battered, pop-flavored "One Man Band" of five members to Wells Fargo Arena in December.
The band, which combines nostalgic spring break memories of a time gone by with a fizzy pop-influenced sound, is adding Des Moines as a stop in a new leg on their soaring No Bad Vibes Tour.
The tour will trace the United States with 30 additional arena dates and a kickoff stop on Sept. 7 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Old Dominion, known for hits like "Hotel Key," "I Was On a Boat That Day" and "Written in the Sand," are the reigning ACM Group of the Year and CMA Vocal Group of the Year respectively.
The country music megastars released a four-part sampler EP, "Memory Lane," led by a buzzy single of the same name alongside the carefree track "Ain't Got to Worry," easygoing "Freedom Like You," and the ballad "Easier Said With Rum." Old Dominion recently released their critically acclaimed new single “I Should Have Married You” on April 21.
Date: Thursday, Dec. 7; show starts at 7:30 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m.
Location: Wells Fargo Arena, 730 Third St., Des Moines
Tickets: On sale May 5 at 10 a.m. on Hy-VeeTix.com
