Old European Inspired Wedding at Casa Del Prado

This bride… this dress… this VENUE. Please excuse us while we take a much needed minute to compose ourselves after witnessing these beautiful photos by Amanda Wei Photography. From the floral arrangements lush with olive branches and garden roses by Michele Beckwith, to the tranquil slate blue and cream color scheme - there’s just nothing not to love about this day! Also, raise your hand if you never could have guessed this venue was not in Europe but actually in sunny SoCal. Yeah, us too.

Jessica and Dalton found the perfect wedding venue at one of their favorite places in the world, Balboa Park, which is located in the heart of sunny San Diego, California.

They chose the patios at Casa del Prado, a structure built over one hundred years ago, for its Spanish revival architecture. It worked perfectly as a stage for their old, European romance theme.

Michele Beckwith did an incredible job on the floral decor, incorporating artichokes and grapes in with the classic array of olive branches, garden roses, and eucalyptus leaves. The two decided to write their own vows and share them in front of their family and friends. Dalton could not stop crying during the entire ceremony, which was just so heartwarming to see!

For dinner, the two decided to pay homage to a San Diego classic, street tacos and some of the best salsa we've had in ages, thanks to the San Diego Taco company. It was a beautiful day that we wish we could relive over and and over again!
