Ole Miss baseball game vs Arkansas on Thursday postponed

OXFORD — The first game of Ole Miss baseball's SEC series against Arkansas on Thursday was postponed.

The Accuweather forecast for Oxford lists a chance of rain beginning at 7 p.m.

The game was rescheduled as part of a Friday doubleheader. The first game will begin at 2 p.m. The second game will follow one hour after the conclusion of the first game.

Those with tickets for Thursday's postponed game can enter the first game of the doubleheader. Fans ticketed for the Friday game can enter the second game. According to Ole Miss baseball's official Twitter account, the stadium will be cleared between games.

The Rebels (17-11, 1-8 SEC) are looking for their first SEC series victory of the season, having been swept by Florida and Vanderbilt before dropping two out of three games to Texas A&M. Arkansas (23-5, 6-3) is coming off a series win at home over Alabama.
