Ole Miss men's basketball will be out to score a place in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals when it takes on Tennessee on Thursday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
The Rebels (12-20) earned the right to take on the Volunteers (22-9) by taking down South Carolina 67-61 to kick off the tournament on Wednesday.
Ole Miss has won just four games against SEC opposition all season, and two of them have come in the last two weeks under interim head coach Win Case, who took over after Kermit Davis and Ole Miss mutually agreed to part ways on Feb. 24.
Tennessee won this event last season and is back looking to retain its title. The Volunteers, safely in the NCAA Tournament field, defeated the Rebels 63-59 in Oxford earlier this season. They concluded their regular season with a loss at Auburn.
