Ole Miss football score vs. Kentucky Wildcats: Live updates

One of the biggest games on this year's SEC calendar is set to go down in Oxford.

No. 11 Ole Miss football (4-0, 0-0 SEC) will try to score a win against No. 8 Kentucky (4-0, 1-0) in the Rebels' SEC opener from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday (11 a.m. ESPN). The game pits the teams that finished second in the SEC East and West last season against each other, with both teams trying to score New Year's Six bowl berths and shots at their first-ever appearance in the SEC Championship game.

The Rebels and Wildcats enter the weekend with two of the best defenses in the nation, allowing 10 and 13 points per game respectively. Ole Miss has the nation's No. 4 rushing offense, running for 280.8 yards per game, and the Wildcats have the nation's No. 8 offense by yards per pass attempt, averaging 10.1 per throw.

Ole Miss defeated Kentucky 42-41 in overtime when these teams last played in 2020. This is the first time Ole Miss and Kentucky have played each other with both teams ranked since 1958.
