OXFORD — Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin will look to score his first win over Nick Saban and Alabama on Saturday (2:30 p.m., CBS).

The Rebels (8-1, 4-1 SEC) enter this game fresh with two weeks of rest thanks to an open date in their schedule. Alabama (7-2, 4-2) is coming off a 32-31 loss to LSU that marked the Crimson Tide's second defeat of the season. Saturday will be the first time Alabama plays a regular-season game with two losses on its ledger since 2010.

Kiffin, a former offensive coordinator under Saban, is 0-2 against the Crimson Tide since taking over as Ole Miss coach, with both defeats coming by multiple scores.

"You've got to do everything right in order to beat these guys," Kiffin said Monday. "You have to coach really well, play really well, win situations, manage things, take risks. There's a reason why they're the best over time at what they do."
