Ole Miss (23-8) – the No. 8 seed in the Seattle 4 Region – is coming into this game off a run to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament, blowing out Texas A&M in the quarterfinals before taking a heavy loss to top-ranked South Carolina.
The ninth-seeded Bulldogs (28-4) steamrolled through the West Coast Conference regular season but came up short in the conference tournament, losing 64-60 in the final to Portland.
The winner of this game will take on the winner of the game between top-seeded Stanford vs No. 16-seed Sacred Heart.
