Ole Miss women's basketball score vs. Stanford: Live updates from March Madness

Ole Miss women's basketball will be out to score one of the biggest wins in recent program history when it takes on top-seeded Stanford in the second round of March Madness on Sunday.

It will be a virtual road game for the Rebels, playing inside Maples Pavilion against the hosting Cardinal, led by legendary coach Tara VanDerveer. Ole Miss has only played Stanford once in its history, a loss in the 1990 Sweet 16.

Eighth-seeded Ole Miss (24-8) earned its first NCAA Tournament win since 2007 with a demolition of Gonzaga in the opening round. The Rebels limited the Bulldogs to their lowest point total of the season in a 71-48 win.

Stanford (29-5) had no problems with 16th-seeded Sacred Heart. The Cardinal rolled to a 92-49 victory in front of their home fans to advance to the round of 32.
