Olentangy Schools: Warren, Kimchi announced as new elementary school principals

Olentangy Schools has announced two new elementary school principals.

Michael Warren has been named principal at Arrowhead Elementary School, and Dana Kimchi is the new principal at Johnnycake Corners Elementary School.

Warren comes to Olentangy from Pittsburgh Public Schools, where he was an assistant principal of the Pittsburgh King PreK-8 school. Before moving into educational administration, Warren held a range of choir-director positions at Pittsburgh, Avonworth School District, the University of Pittsburgh and other institutions.

“It is an honor and a privilege to have been selected as the next leader at Arrowhead Elementary School. I look forward to leading alongside the Olentangy staff and administration to ensure Arrowhead is a place where students feel loved, valued and passionate about becoming their best selves,” Warren said in a June 22 news release from Olentangy Schools.

Kimchi brings 14 years of elementary experience to Johnnycake Corners, teaching in Westerville City Schools for seven years and serving as assistant principal at Olentangy Meadows Elementary School for seven years.
