Olive Garden’s Breadstick Bouquets Are a Delicious Way to Say “Happy Valentine’s Day”

This year, Olive Garden is leveling up your carb game. The popular Italian food chain is offering up an alternative to the standard bouquet of roses: a breadstick bouquet, complete with customizable bouquet wrappers for a truly thrilling way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

According to a press release for the chain, the restaurant is offering up six different designs featuring special Valentine’s Day messages for that special someone, including ones that read “My love for you is never ending” (in a nod to Olive Garden’s famous bottomless breadsticks) and “Love at first bite” (self-explanatory).

Those looking to surprise their honey with a handful of carb happiness simply need to order breadsticks to-go from their local Olive Garden, print and cut out the custom bouquet wrapping square of their choice, roll it into a cone, and fill it with the breadsticks upon arrival.

Alternately, Olive Garden is also offering up the Valentine’s Day ToGo Dinner for Two, which includes breadsticks (of course) and a choice of soup or salad; a dipping sauce for the starters (five cheese marinara or Alfredo sauce); a shareable main entree for two (a five cheese ziti al forno or chicken alfredo); and a shareable dessert (either a black tie mousse cake or tiramisu).

The Valentine’s Day ToGo Dinner for Two deal starts at $35.99 and is available from Jan. 28 through Feb. 14.

It should also be noted, importantly, that the breadstick bouquet is not for sale online or in-restaurant, so this is a true treat for the homebodies.

Olive Garden is far from the only chain offering up special deals for Valentine’s Day: last year, Auntie Anne’s pretzels, Buca di Beppo and Pizza Hut were just three popular chains that offered up heart-shaped foods.
