Olivia Munn and John Mulaney Are Reportedly Dating: ‘This Is Very New’

Just three days after John Mulaney's split from his wife of six years Anna Marie Tendler was announced, People dropped a bombshell: Mulaney is taken again, this time by actress Olivia Munn.

A source close to Mulaney told the outlet, “This is very new, they're taking it slowly. They met at church in Los Angeles.” Munn famously dated Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers previously for three years, until March 2017.

Neither Munn nor Mulaney have confirmed or denied the news of their dating on their social media.

Munn and Mulaney have been privately friendly for years, but Munn gave Mulaney a very public show of support in December. People noted that when reports emerged that Mulaney had entered rehab that month to seek treatment for relapsing, Munn tweeted encouragement to the comedian. “Sending SO MUCH love and support to John Mulaney. You got this,” Munn wrote on her account. Mulaney completed his 60-day rehab stay in February, People confirmed, and is currently an outpatient working on his sobriety.

Tendler announced that she and Mulaney were divorcing on Monday and indicated that it had been his decision. “I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage,” she said in a statement issued through her rep to media outlets. “I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery."

Mulaney's rep confirmed the news too to Page Six, saying, “John will not have any further comment as he continues to focus on his recovery and getting back to work.”

The comedian is currently doing a five-day residency, John Mulaney: From Scratch, at New York City's City Winery this week. It is his first new standup show since completing his rehab stay.
