(SOUNDBITE) (German) DAUGHTER OF MAZE FAMILY, FRANZI MAYR, SAYING:"Over the last years we have made all sorts of themes from football to Indians, Vicky Viking and the strong men, a colorful mix. And something for young and old. This year we decided on something for the Olympics as the Olympics is happening in Tokyo and so we said we would bring the Olympics to Bavaria."
The Mayr family began creating mazes in 2006
in addition to their farming work
It took father and son roughly two days
to mow the corn that has reached knee height
(SOUNDBITE) (German) MAZE VISITOR, MARKUS BOTSCH, SAYING:"I think it's pretty cool as the questions are really interesting and also topical as they have to do with the current Olympic Games. We didn't manage everything, but quite a bit and in the end we were quite happy that we found the way out as it was getting a bit long in there, but it was super!"
