The '90s will always be remembered as one of the best decades for fashion. And few people define the decade of slip dresses, choker necklaces and mum jeans better than Friends star Courtney Cox. Even now, I'd love to catch a sneak peek of her wardrobe. Or, better yet, try her clothes on. Omg, imagine all the retro-pieces she has in there, which are also totally making a comeback right now.
Alas, whilst we can only dream about the prospect of trying on Courtney's incred clothes, one person who does have that privilege is her 14-year-old daughter, Coco Arquette. And Coco's just gone and proved she's also very into her mum's throwback style by donning the exact same dress Courtney wore on the red carpet back in 1998 for the Hollywood premiere of Snake Eyes. And you bet your bottom dollar, the teen totally nailed it.
Courtney shared the cute mother-daughter #twinning moment on Instagram with a side-by-side picture and the caption "I'm not one to hold onto things but this was a damn good purchase! 21 years later..."
The sleeveless, V-neck dress features a muted grey slip-dress with a black and white stripe across the neckline, topped with a sheer violet floral lace overlay. Um, could this be any more '90s? Answer: nope.
For the garment's OG outing, Courtney accessorised with a black choker necklace, dangly earrings, black strap watch and a preppy bob. Coco, however, gave the look a 2019-inspired upgrade, styling it with a fine gold pendant necklace, white beaded bracelet (on the same hand, no less) and a slightly more relaxed wavy hairstyle.
